Manzanita Merchants Association is an organization of business peoples of Manzanita whose primary mission is to help one another maximize their business potential by a common unity of purpose, believing the concept of good business promotes good business.

Our mission includes:

• Promote business by providing affordable marketing, publicity and advertising -- print (newspaper, brochure), internet (website), and television
• Sponsor and endorse existing and new communitye vents to promote business and have fun
• Encourage cooperation as a business community
• Represent the interests of merchants with government entitites
• Participate in regional economic development decisions
• Become and information and serivces resource to assist member merchants in growing their businesses

For more than twenty years, the Manzanita Merchant's Association has been active in the civic and business life of Manzanita. For many years, the Merchant's Association sponsored the 4th of July parade, the Christmass Tree Lighting, and co-sponsored the Easter Egg Hunt with the local Kiwanis group.

More recently, the Merchant's Association has funded the lighted outdoor Christmas decorations in the commercial district and placed custom designed benches and trash receptacles around town for the comfort of our residents and visitors.

The Merchant's Association is dedicated to sound business practices and promoting a well-balanced mix of businesses which support the community.
